Glidden Marketing


As the principal of Glidden Marketing, David Glidden offers his clients the experience honed in years of managing marketing programs and product management for technology-based companies.

At the Broadcast Communications division of Harris Corporation, David managed the global product strategy for television transmitters; developed the company’s entry into mobile television applications; refined their staged product management process and trained the product management organization on its application; and led the Broadcast division’s marketing operations.

Prior to joining Harris in 2001, David served Microwave Radio Communications in Billerica, Massachusetts for 10 years in marketing, product line management and business development positions before advancing to vice president and general manager.

His early television career focused on producer/director and station management roles with the U.S. Army Signal School, American Forces Television-Germany, and Nebraska Public Television. He then moved onto marketing management positions for electronics firms in Arizona, California, and Washington; and was a managing partner of a technology marketing consulting firm based in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

David holds an MBA from Arizona State University, a master’s degree in public administration from University of Nebraska, and a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University. He has written and presented papers at the National Association of Broadcasters Convention, the Society of Broadcast Engineers, the International Broadcasting Convention, and the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers, and has been published in a number of professional publications, including Broadcast Engineering, IBE, SMPTE Journal, Television Broadcast, Digital Television and Sound & Vibration.
